First the good points! It's inexpensive and easy to install! Now the rest! Cannot recommend at any cost!It is a low profile unit, perhaps too low profile! Failed to eject almost every time. The ejected shell would not clear the ejection port getting stuck between the bottom of the mount and the next cartridge being chambered!Note: My M1-A is a "match prepared" rifle which has served me well in Hi-Power competition never, ever having jammed!Do not buy! I am certain one would be sorely disappointed!

First of all I like this design. It's very low profile which is nice. However, I do not like the material. After mounting a heavy scope on it I can see that it flexes when firing. This mount might be ok for a light red dot or something. I can't tell if the flex is effecting zero but I'm not cutting one ragged hole like I can do with my other M1A with a more solid mount.

If I could give this less than one star I would. Looks like all the other reviews are spot on as well. I never fired the weapon to see if it interfered with ejection but it was definitely so low that I can imagine it would. Either way as soon as he mount it onto the gun, you can push down on the front of it up to a 32nd of an inch movement. There’s no way you would hold a zero on anything.

Ejected cases getting wedged between the bottom of the rail and the next round in the mag on my SOCOM. Thought it would be nice for putting a small optic on to save weight. Otherwise it was well constructed but poorly designed. Makes you wonder if they had even tried it out. I should have bought American anyway.
