If you are familiar with the Aimpoint M68 CCO, this may as well be it's twin. I purchased this to use in conjunction with a PVS 14, and am pleased with the results. Fast re-zero if you change platforms, appears waterproof, but have not beat it up much yet. I switch this between several platforms, and have no issues to report. Buy once, cry once.

The Comp M4s (that's the one with the low battery compartment) is a great sight. It comes already attached to the Aimpoint QRP2 mount so mounting it to your rifle/carbine is quick and easy. Battery life is off the charts, at 80,000 hours on one of the lower daylight settings. And it uses AA batteries. If you want to be safe change the battery once a year. The dot is 2 moa. I can hit 6 inch steel plates at 200 yards with the dot on a low setting (to mitigate "bloom"). IDPA size steel at 300 yards is no problem, and I have 47 year old eyes. Order with confidence. This has been one of several purchases made with Opticsplanet. As always, I am extremely satisfied with the service, customer support as well as competitive pricing.I researched this unit ad nauseoum prior to making the purchase. Called the staff at Aimpoint with a barrage of questions and found the staff to be more than patient, taking an extraordinary amount of time with me to make sure that all my questions were answered to my satisfaction. I mounted it on a Tavor replacing the Mepro optic. The reticle on the Mepro obliterated the target at one hundred yards. And yes I am aware that this was a close combat optic and it did fit that bill very well. How ever I was looking for something that would provide a bit more flexibility. The Aimpont Comp M4 has more than satisfied my needs. The unit appears to be very well built, the adjustable red dot reticle is crystal clear, very fast target aquisition, battery life is exceptional and from what I have read as well as the videos observed this unit is beyond rugged. Be advised that this is not an inexpensive purchase but in my opinion it has been well worth it! The best red dot period.The most durable,best battery life, best clarity and most of all looks the best! Worth the money.I have it mounted to a Sig 716 and it is perfect. The aimpoint magnifier will be a great match. You will not be disappointed with this product.

This sight has been wonderful for the last 10 years that I have had it. I have used it on three different rifle calibers (556, 6.5 Grendel, 50 beowulf) and it has never failed, or lost zero. I never dropped it but it took a ton of other physical abuse and moisture exposure. The glass is very clear and the dot is sharp and very easy to see on the brightest of days (I live in the Arizona desert) and at 2 moa covers very little of the sight picture. The last time I took it out to use it I discovered that the alkaline battery in it had burst and destroyed the battery chamber and connectors. I contacted Aimpoint and explained. John ther rep told me that I could send it to them and they would replace the damaged sections and send it back to me at no charge. I was thrilled that they would consider repairing my scope and shocked that there would me no charge, So I immediately shipped it insured to their facility (can't remember what state but eastern seaboard). After several weeks I checked with John about progress and was told that it had been sent to Sweden/Switzerland. and he would ship as soon as it was returned to them. A few more weeks and John said that it could not be repaired and they would send me a new scope. On December 26 I received the Brand New Scope in the mail. Aimpoint went above and beyond my initial expectations and I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking to purchase a quality product that the manufacturer stands behind 100%.
