I have used these sights on many of my work guns during my military career. Best sight made. It might be more expensive than holosun sights, or sig's nasty cheap junk, but it will be the last sight you have to buy for that gun.

As stated, I bought both the T2 Micro and the 3X multiplier. I own a Colt LE6920 Flat Top and found that when I installed them, the focal planes did not line up as the T2 was about 3/4" below the centerline of the 3X Magnifier. After tweaking the set up by removing the ring spacer on the 3X Magnifier, and was able to get a sight picture with the Red Dot. Even still, I need to raise the T2 by 1/2" to retain the twist-off Multiplier base. The quality of the products is top-grade. I would very pleased to learn of a spacer to line up these two fine products. Any suggestions would be appreciated and welcomed.

For over a decade, I was very skeptical on how this little scope with an even smaller red dot had earned the reputation of gold standard for CQB scopes. I follow several Seals, Law Enforcement, and SFOs on YouTube that have used the term "gold standard" regarding this scope. I decided to build a lightweight CQB upper for my AR. They all claimed there is a learning curve in finding my natural point of aim with red dot scopes. That was certainly true for me…….. This upper and red dot has now become my go to rifle for targets less than 50 yards. Lightweight translates into lightning fast acquisition of targets and the ability to hold on target longer when standing. When I sling the rifle on my back muzzle down or synched up on my chest I find it extremely comfortable in both positions. I have one rifle with several different uppers serving different criteria all of them minimalist.Paul

Wanted best of the best so I went with Aimpoint. Upon arrival I was dissapointed, first off I thought I got a knockoff because the box it came in was a blank white box. Second, the fde finish has defects( looks spotty, also a scratch that’s very noticeable). And third, the dot is not a dot more like a star like what people are claiming.

Does the average shooter need an Aimpoint? No. Does the average driver need a sports car? No. If you're looking for the best in class red dot, you'd be hard pressed to select something else. Expect to pay the premium for a sight that's become iconic–these days that premium is about $200. But at the same time, look at other $500 sights like EoTechs falling from grace after covering up massive thermal drift issues. The reason you pay the full $750 for an Aimpoint is because you know it's bombproof. It's easy to Google all the insane stories of what this thing survives. Add to that the 50k hour battery life and you have something I'd consider more rugged than an iron sight. That's what an Aimpoint micro is, the red dot that can supplant the very role of iron sights and function better than any red dot. Even dropping your rifle on a set of aluminum irons will very likely damage them and/or affect zero. Not the case with an Aimpoint. Few red dots can claim to be as rugged. EoTechs certainly are not, but there are still great options for the average shooter. The holographic sight picture of the EoTech is hard to beat, and for a lighter duty rifle you've got a huge field of view with a crisp holographic reticle. A Vortex is almost a quarter of the cost of an Aimpoint, but still has a very long battery life. But on an Aimpoint T2, you can leave the sight on for 10 years. It's that next level of performance that makes the T1 and T2 command such a premium. My favorite thing about the new T2 has to be the flip up covers. The rear is transparent, so if you're in a hurry you can shoot with the covers closed if you use proper technique and keep both eyes open. It really is the coolest thing and is something you absolutely have to try in real life. All in all, no deception here. A top of the line product.

I've owned most of the higher end optics and in my opinion the Aimpoints are a little better than most. I recently sold a couple MRO's to buy a T2 and an Aimpoint Comp M5. I feel the glass is slightly better, the dot is more crisp and they are just slightly more refined than an MRO. With that being said, MRO's are probably the best "Value". The adjustment knobs on the T2 feel very similar to the MRO's and the knobs on the Comp M5 are the best I've felt.
