The Contractor 640 with 75mm lens is built to last. The day I got it was like Xmas. The housing is robust and can taka heavy recoil. The controls are easy to use and intuitive. With the large lens you are getting a ton of IR light and it shows in the image quality. The image enhancements it has are really cool. Super easy to use with two turrets. Plus recording video is a no brainer, one dedicated button to start and stop. Overall I am very happy with my purchase would recommend.

I called Armasight and they said to return the scope I showed them a picture. I will try to attach it here but the runner from the eyecup was deteriorating when it was brand new out of the box. It’s partially crumbled away as soon as I opened it. The rubber lens cover does not fit the front lens correctly and it falls off without touching it. The scope is great and amazing to use. I just can’t believe 6,000$ and the rubber is junk. I called armaight they say return it but I do like using the scope I hate to be without it right now it makes me mad but I am still in return window. I wish Armasight would have offered to send me new rubber pieces. Assuming they aren’t all junk.

I have tried several thermal scopes, but the Contractor is by far the easiest to use. The turrets are great and easy to work the scope with gloves during PA cold nights. The image quality is really good and what you see through the AMOLED screen is much better than what you see on the video recording. Battery life is good for just having to use 2 CR123s. The USB-C port can also be used to connect a powerbank and you get a ton of time in the field. The scope mount is fantastic, super easy to put the scope on the rail and take it off. I have not had any glitches or malfunctions with mine, so I am happy about that. Great product overall.
