The MNVD-51 is a lighter, more compact Multi-Purpose Night Vision Monocular when compared to the popular PVS-14. Like the PVS-14, the MNVD-51 can be used helmet-mounted, head-mounted, weapon-mounted, or as a handheld unit, making the MNVD-51 work around you and not the other way around. This model has a wider 51-degree field of view allowing you to see more of your surroundings and helping you maintain situational awareness. A built-in IR illuminator helps light up your night when there is no ambient light available for the unit to enhance. Armasight’s MNVD-51 can run off one AA battery or CR123A battery with a maximum run time of 40 hours. Each of these Night Vision Monocular is protected by a rugged, compact housing system that provides the perfect balance of performance and mobility. We understand that night vision can be complex to understand. Armasight breaks it down by separating our devices by field of view and phosphor color and by grading our tubes in a way that is easier to understand at first glance. Get to know our offering below to decide which tube you need in your next night vision device. Pinnacle – Looking to step it up a level with the Pinnacle of Gen 3 night vision? This grade is for you. This tube has a minimum 2000 FOM, with no inclusions in zone 1 of your tubes, and absolutely no inclusions sized .009″ to .012″ found in any of the 3 zones. Pinnacle 2376 – Take all the ingenuity that makes up the Pinnacle and add in what our Military calls “the perfect number”. As far as monocles go, this has to be one of the best bang for your buck. Great product and seemingly blemish free, with low noise (High SNR). Had to request the spec sheet from support@armasight.com as it wasn't included, but they literally sent it out in under a day!Tubes are made in the USA and units are assembled in the USA.My only complaint is the lack of mounting options for the mini rail system and information on the unit in general. I'd grab the helmet mount while it is still going for $100!

Outrageous 2000 FOM white Elbit Pinnacle tube in my sample, and it's so satisfying to look through. The 2376 tube must be a sight to behold, but that tube is for people that want the very best available and understand that at such high levels, slight increases in performance are expensive. Keep the manual gain way down in urban settings because light amplification is top notch. Excellent for handheld use. This body style arguably fits the hand better than the PVS-14 and is slightly lighter. Excellent 51 FOV is great for scanning without moving your head as much as with a standard 40-degree unit. Easier to power on with push-button instead of PVS-14 twist knob. Mountable for helmet use but not as many options as with PVS-14. This is a different unit from most other handheld units out there. It has an amazing white 2000 minimum Elbit Pinnacle intensifier tube with an option for the magical 2376 FOM minimum, a smaller footprint than PVS-14, takes both AA and 123 batteries, has an easy push-button IR illuminator built in, has a wide 51-degree FOV, and is a bada** grey color. This is ideal for the user that prefers the wider FOV than the 40-degree units, but there's always a bit of sacrifice for it. Most folks only notice the difference when the image quality of a 51 degree is compared to a 40 degree and are they conscious of what to look for in terms of picture quality. Cool street cred from Armasight too.Runs over a day with plenty of power. No head gear included, just a great monocular ready for however you put it to use. A force multiplier that greatly increases your capability to operate around the clock.
