The magnifier I received had three issues out of the box: 1) My red dot was just recently sighted in. When I installed the magnifier, the dot was WAY left. I adjusted the windage as far as it would go, and it couldn't center. About 20% left of center was as far as it could go. 2) There was a "flattened edge" in the top right of the view through the magnifier, so the view isn't a perfectly round circle. I even checked it off the gun, and it's still flat in that corner. 3) The windage and elevation screws were installed backwards!Seriously some quality control issues at play. I contacted AT3 directly and they PROMTPLY issued a replacement with no hassles. Arrived within a few days. All issues resolved. (Slight flat edge on the top right, but less pronounced. I can live with it for this price range.)I have yet to put any rounds through it with the magnifier. Once I do, I'll update this review if there are any issues. Meanwhile, having this paired with the AT3 RD-50 is exactly what I was hoping for. Right size, right magnification, solid feel. Both line up well with the 1" riser for lower 1/3 cowitness.

Wanted something more than 3X,but not wanting a scope of 5X or higher. This unit at 4X takes care of it. It's a solid built unit with a very secure mounting device. Flip up button is solid. Diopular adjustment is firm. Overall a very nice magnifier. Paired with my Holosun Gold dot, the clarity at all ranges is super crisp. Eye relief for me about 5 inches. My AR is set up for 100 – 200 yards so this 4X is ideal. We'll worth the wait.
