This scope is awesome. I researched for over a month before setting on this one for my budget and goals. If perfect tracking and a mil reticle with hd glass are on your list of wants, this is the most affordable option at this time. Bonus: no discernible parallax shift. I did a lot of research, this was the most expensive thing I have bought in a long time and I am happy with the purchase. Shipping was on time, and required a signature which is good imo. The one thing I would change is the shipping box: It said optics planet on it, and made me nervous about the potential of a nearly $600 package going missing during transit. 10/10 would buy again.

I had to call manufacturer to verify this is indeed the Midas TAC I wanted as OP didn't identify it as such. It is and I purchased it on sale. Optics Planet delivered! Product comes in a sturdy package. I believe this scope beats every scope in it's class. I wanted FFP and a MIL reticle (APRS20) which this scope features along with turrets calibrated in MILradians, not MOA. Have it mounted on a Valkyrie upper but have yet to shoot long range with it. I expect it to perform better than I can shoot. I also like that is more compact than the higher power version. Installed using a 30mm Vortex Cantilever mount also purchased from OP, perfect fit for this Athlon scope. Packaging was also well designed to protect scope.

One of the better FFP entry level scopes, this is above average for the price point. I’ll grab it before any 1” non clicker and hunt in without scratch guilt. It works well clean clear , I have 3 and recommended to some friends I expected to keep. ready to put down some meat.

Great scope for the price point. Very clear and holds zero. The turrets function as well as higher end scopes and the finish appears to be manufactured well. Would highly recommend for a guy starting long range shooting on a budget.

I have purchased to Athlon Target scopes previously and loved both. Now I needed a good longer range hunting scope for hunting at 500 yards and in. This is one of the best values for my purpose. I haven't actually hunted with it yet, but have been practicing for a couple weeks and doing some load development. It exceeds my expectations!

Real clear glass for the price. Haved used a nikon prostaff, primary arms slx, burris veracity and I like this glass the best. Simple reticle with just enough info imo. Best clicks I've used so far. Burris was real tactile but heavy.these have just enough tension. seems very well made. Wish it came with some kind of lens cover though.
