First of all, I wish Optics Planet would correct the description. The 1-6×24 is called the XP6 mirage, not XP8 mirage. Had some really bad quality issues with the Vortex Strike Eagle and Athlon Argos LPVO scopes I had to return but am really happy with the XP6 Mirage 1-6×24 FFP scope I recently bought to replace them. The reticle is rather basic and fully illuminated. Illumination works pretty well in brighter conditions but not sure if it would be considered day light bright or not. It does not have the windage dots and using BDC drop is only usable 4x and higher. It has the more expensive first focal plane reticle which takes a while to get used to if you have been using second focal plane scopes, but the more I use it, the more I like it. Clarity is good but not what I would categorize as spectacular. It gets the job done with a very slight loss of detail at the highest magnification, which seems common with LPVOs in this price range. Eye box forgiveness is good in 1x, but gets a little tricky in the high magnification level, which again is pretty common with LPVO scopes. One of the most important things for me with an LPVO scope is 1x easy 2 eyes open use without eye strain or double vision, and not a lot of wavy fish bowl refraction / distortion. I get that with my new XP6 Mirage scope. I had to return multiple Vortex scopes for these and other quality issue reasons. I finally have a scope that seems to work well now. If this one didn't work out I was going to try the Swamp Fox as I heard good things on their scopes too, but good for now.

I love having the FFP for 3 gun. On one power, you have a dot, but you can use holdovers on 6x for your long range stages. Atibal hit it out of the park with this one. The glass on this optic is amazing. It is very clear and this has been a very durable optic for me. I don't baby my equipment and the Atibal XP6 keeps up

I mounted this scope on my "competition" style AR15. The eye relief is generous, and the First Focal Plane (FFP) is a nice touch. I can get on target quickly with the 1x power and hit the longer range targets reliably with the 6x power. I really think you get a lot for the money with this optic. I would have no problem recommending this scope to a friend.

I shoot the XP6 FFP on my .223 my husband built. The XP6 is crystal clear, easy to use, and the throw lever makes it easy to adjust while shooting off the bench. I suggest all women looking to start shooting, or even advanced shooters look into this quality optic. I know for a fact I will be buying more Atibal products in the future!

If you are looking for something to compete with a Kahles or Schmidt or …insert 2000 dollar optic here… then keep looking. That is not what this is.It is however a very well put together optic that has surprisingly good clarity, not just in the price point but compared to optics that cost twice as much. This was my second Atibal product, my first being a dot, and I ordered it on PreOrder from them. I do not regret the decision. I would liken the quality to that of the Vortex Viper as far as build quality goes. The glass in the Vortex probably gets the nod, but then again, this is First focal plane, the vortex is second. The only negatives I have to say on this optic is that there is not a couple of different reticle options, and the reticle is not quite daylight bright, that is it. It is affordable, it is built well, it has a lifetime warranty, and it is good clear glass. The illumination works fine outdoors if firing at a wooded area or something though, I just think it would wash out against a bright target or in brighter areas without tree cover. I would also note that Atibal states this as well, they do not claim it to be used as a red dot, I am just saying it would be nice if it could be.Only thing left to see is how well it holds up over time. If it is anything like their red dot, I don't see any problems with this test either.

I've used the xp8 ffp for I think 2 years now. It's of course held zero. I've beat it up pretty good. It's on my go to rifle. So it gets used. The reticle is the selling point for this particular optic IMO. At 1x it forms almost this triangle, that draws the eye in to the tip of the "triangle" (which is where your zero is.) And then at higher magnifications (since it's a ffp, the reticle works at ever magnification)The reticle gives you all the holdovers to make it a breeze to get on at distance.I love the xp8. And I love the Atibal company.
