Everyone I shoot with uses vortex, I chose to buy this optic after being recommended it by a veteran friend of mine, the last time I was in the US. I'm super happy, easy target transison. on different lengths . i have good groups out to 500m. also got good help from the opticksplanet, to get it shippit to Norway. wish i had this opptik when i deployed to Afghanistan.i'm not careful, with my optics and this, one already been through alot , and mye xp8 withstand a lot of beating. Believe I've actually become a fanboy of Atibal. will now buy me a red dot from atibal. I personally found this to be a good alternative to many of the expensive brands.

Glass and reticle are nice and clear, finish is awesome, and build quality is solid. You have to figure the adjustments without markings, and a few details I found against it is the first 2 lowest light settings don't really show any light. The 3 highest settings are so bright that the glass glows red and you can't see too well beyond that. When you adjust to 1x it is more -1x and seems to zoom back making closer objects seem farther away. All this can be worked around and make it solid option for the most part. I still do prefer my 1-8x strike eagle for the same price.
Vortex Owner –
I am an owner of three Vortex scopes and I was skeptical that this scope was going to measure up to my Vortex criteria of being high grade quality, good price point, with a lifetime warranty.I am happy to say my skepticism is gone. The Atibal XP8 was a great buy, exceptional quality, features, and I really like the reticle.I own the 1-6 Vortex Strike Eagle (great product) and this beats it for me in the following: . The reticle. I really like the Diamond reticle with etched .5 moa center red dot in the center. Makes for rapid acquisition with the eye and doesn't unnecessarily cover the target. Vortex Strike Eagle reticle design is much thicker and the horseshoe doesn't work as well for me. Personal preference. . The glass. I have taken both outside on their respective rifles. The glass of the Atibal seemed much cleaner all the way up to 8 power. The light transmission was about even with a slight edge to the Atibal. . Eye relief. The eye relief on the Atibal was much better for me on low and high power. I found myself not having to adjust where my head naturally falls on the stock at any power making for more natural shots. . The screw on throw lever is fantastic. Makes it so easy to adjust magnification. A little detail but one that Atibal did well and I appreciate the feature came with the scope versus an add on over priced throw lever product.. Price point. I was able to get this product for right at 300 on sale. A 1-8 of this quality at this price is not something you typically find. Is it a Razor or true ACOG? No, but it is not pretending to be. This is a great entry to mid level scope for guys that love to plink or stretch it out a ways.Is the Atibal perfect? No,it is a bit heavier than desired (3-5oz or so) so I offset some weight with a super light Aero Precision SPR mount. It also doesn't come with batteries to check the illumination (brightness is even with the Strike Eagle). As a customer I would expect at least one supplied by the manufacturer to ensure it works with a power source they approve of.The reticle also goes out to 1000 yards which to me is overkill with .223/5.56 or .308/7.62. They could have called it at 800 and been way safe with a bit more of a intuitive design under the diamond. As for durability I did drop my rile three times from natural carry height (yes on purpose lol), picked it up, and it maintained zero. I hope that the scope proves to be rugged throughout and that I do not have to call for warranty support. I will update this if I do.However, with me nit picking a bit above I would still highly recommend this scope for the price. I look forward to seeing more quality Atibal products in the future.

I've had this optic for a number of years now mounted on my BCM Recce 16 and enough time has passed to do a follow-up review. I love this scope and the reticle is amazing. Very accurate, has held zero, clear glass, looks sharp and a pleasure to shoot with. Love the rapid lever and you can get them in other colors on Atibal's site. Mine came with a free mount and that made the deal even better. I had a more expensive Aimpoint Pro on my rifle before and switched that out for this Atibal due to the magnification levels it had. The Aimpoint is a great red-dot, but I like the Atibal better for my use. I highly recommend.

This optic deserves the review! I mounted this on my Radical AR-15 5.56/.223.The optic is zeroed at 50 yds and have had absolutely no issue reaching all the way out to 400yds without having to adjust cross hair on target. The illuminated reticle allows for great target acquisition in the dark. I run 5k 2gun biathlons and constantly have my rifle in and out of my truck "yes without a gunbag" while working on my property or while around town. Needless to say the optic gets bounced around and beat on, I have put roughly 1.2k 55g .223 through the rifle with this mounted and have had NO issue with holding Zero. The throw lever is a nice addition and allows for easy magnification adjustments on the fly rather than trying to grip the optic bezel while cold or something like that. Battery life is pretty good I do not run the lit reticle during day majority of the time as the optic has the reticle/cross hairs already. But at night it is a complete game changer paired with a good white light on my property or twilight run and guns.Glass is still very clear only thing if any that I could knock this optic on is at 8x it gets just the slightest lens blur on the very edge of the lens and I only say this as that is me searching for something to complain about I never use this optic over x5-x6 anyways and always have the optic on x3.5-x4 and a canted red dot on my rifle. After all of this I will be trying to get one of Atibals STD's LOL to replace my sightmark reddot.Overall I am very impressed with this optic (Atibal XP8 OPMOD special FDE) and Atibal optics as a whole, now don't question it and just buy it!
