I took the leap and purchased the Pvs 14-3.I am pleasantly surprised at the Image Intensifier Tubes quility, no blemishes at all. I have used these devices for countless hours in the middle east and Europe and I can say it is like having the issued nods on my head again.Shipping claimed 1-3 days to ship, after ITAR paperwork was completed (3 days after order) I got it a week and two days from the manufacturer, granted there was a holiday inbetween. Overall I am highly satisfied.

I purchased this when Optic Planets OPMOD PVS14 became unavailable. The company gave me an excellent price for the unit. The clarity is excellent. It is more clear than my Gen 3 PVS14's that I used while at the 3rd Ranger Battalion 99-2004. However, I cannot attest to the durability as I have not had the product long. The housing of the night vision I am not thrilled about. It is made of a plastic/composite material that just feels cheap. With that being said I cannot condemn it as I have had no issues with it. I have mounted it on a helmet, as well as a weapon and it functions flawlessly. The only really draw back is the LED IR illuminator. The illuminator is not very bright and does not carry beyond your immediate area. Meaning it would be ok for movement through a room but not dense foliage. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a good quality Night vision device.

This is almost identical to what I used in the U.S. Marines in Iraq and Afghanistan. The quality of the image is slightly lower (but only barely) and it doesn't come with a Rhino Mount like I thought it would. Otherwise, great product. Now I just need a PEQ 15!

The 3P Intensifier tube is a thin film autogated 3rd gen tube as described on ATNs website specification card. My tube was super clear almost zero noticeable spot in my tube. The image is clear and the construction seems of good quality. This optice gave me a better image than what I used in the Marines. Its a good quality tube so far. The head harness is uncomfortable like you would expect, get a helmet. Besides that everything is operating better than i had expected. For $2800 out the door, well worth the money.

All the videos I've seen do not do it justice. In person the image quality is sharp and clear. Kit comes with a head mount that fits a little tight on my head (big head) but other than that everything works great. Highly recommended!Pros: easy to use, amazing image qualityCons: none

I am not sure where to submit a review, I do not participate in social media, but I do believe in commending people when they display professionalism and integrity. When you make a substantial purchase, you investigate it as much as possible, especially when you must get permission to spend thousands of dollars from your wife. ATN had wonderful reviews and I had used their products while I served in the military, so this looked to be an easy sell, to my wife … ish, well it helped. However, I ran into issues with the sales technician and it made me question my purchase. It is not always about the product; service is a major partner when it comes to trust in a major purchase. If an employee displays bad character traits, you begin to think about what else is not standards there as well. When you make a purchase in the price range of NVGs, you expect professionalism and honesty. The sales rep tarnished this to some degree. Once the PVS-14 finally arrived, I was excited to check them out, I had not used NVGs in some time and the last ones that I did use were PVS-7A Green. I was excited for my wife, who graciously allowed me to purchase these, to try them out. Well, they had a defect in the objective lens and were very blurry. So, along with the rough first impression and now we have a quality issue, I was losing faith in ATN. These things happen, but not at the same time. It was then that I noticed that the receipt that came with the PVS 14s was 1000.00 more than what I had agreed to pay. I am now thinking that my wife is going to kill me and burry me with these defective goggles in the back yard. I then jumped on the internet and submitted a support case. This is when I met Ken Noblitt. I was a little apprehensive given my experience so far. He immediately jumped into motion; he asked the usual questions regarding focusing etc. I sent him photos of the lens defect and he immediately created an RMA, no questions. He also contacted finance, which is what I should have done here, my wife. All I can say is “fear”, you contact your wife when you think you have made an expensive bad decision. A few minutes later I receive an email regarding the RMA and that he had spoken to ATN finance and they had charged the correct price and not the wrong one on the receipt. I called my wife and she confirmed that this was correct. I was off to the races and in good graces; I had a shipping label and Ken was emailing me every step of the process. He answered every question I had and re-assured me that there would be a quick turn-around, and he was correct every time. Ken single handedly change my opinion about ATN. You rarely see this with support, I should know, I have been in support for a very long time. I would hire this guy in a second. He was knowledgeable, kind, and attentive, not to mention patient. I now have the PVS-14 and will be attending a training camp with my former military buddies, one of which has a YouTube channel which reviews weapons and accessories. He will be reviewing your PVS-14 6015 3W. Thank you Ken, I did not want to be the only guy without nods, you never recover from that type of ridicule. By the way, where were these goggles when I was in the military—-WOW! The white Phosphorous is awesome. These things weigh next to nothing. I learned not to judge a company by one person, you guys have lived up to your rep……
