I purchased this scope as a night optic, opting for thermal over traditional night vision, and I've really enjoyed working with it. In addition to using it as a weapon-mounted optic for airsoft, it's been a great teaching aid for school field trips out to the park where I work, allowing kids and adults to see the world using a different sense, as many animals do. Explaining how some animals, such as pit vipers and some pythons, hunt using heat instead of vision, and showing them the comparison between a traditional photograph of a squirrel and a thermal photo really gets kids excited.The photo and video functions are wonderful to have, both for hiking and airsoft, and the long eye relief is especially helpful when lying prone or sitting up in a tree. The ability to stream video to my phone or tablet to show larger audiences or teammates is a huge boon.I'm taking off one star because the microphone has never worked quite properly, and the zoom knob doesn't seem to work correctly on my device, but these don't really affect my day-to-day use.Special shout-out to Milen at ATN support for rapid responses to questions and concerns!All in all, I'm very pleased with this scope, and would heavily consider ATN's offerings when purchasing in the future.

Really impressed with the scope,easy to read instructions.Battery life is 18+ hrs impressive,everything you need is in the package and the one shot zero is great,clarity is great so many options with this scope well worth the price and highly recommend.I have used Thermals at my work that cost in excess of $12000.00 tha didn't have the clarity of the Thor4.

I bought this scope for scanning and shooting closer ranges. I don’t have the wallet to buy a 3k plus thermal and I was a bit nervous. I will say that I definitely made the right decision. The 1.25 magnification allows for a huge field of view while scanning. I can detect small game up to 50 yds and larger game at 300 plus. You will need to study the body language at that distance to make a for sure identification. For work under 100yds this thing is perfect. If you have any questions, call Oliver at atn. That guy is great. Answered many questions for me before I purchased.

I like this scope since it looks like a normal scope and won't draw too much attention to it. Unit also can record video and stream it via wifi to a smartphone or tablet. This is a great feature. My kids can see what the scope sees. There isn't a laser range finder but you can use the intelligent rangefinder to count the distance by measuring objects. If you are planning on using this for fast moving targets (coyote) and need to know the exact distance in real time you might want the ABL. I like this scope and look forward to playing with it more.

I had some trouble with my Thor 4 Smart HD Thermal Rifle Scope. After installing the Firmware I got an ERR were the compass is located. I Contacted ATN and received an email from Faris Oran who told me how to fix my problem. I can not wait to use it.

My scope worked great. Now I'm use to the old version. Thought I'd upgrade and I'm very happy with the new model. One shot zero worked perfectly and zero held. One thing I wasn't expecting was the long rang shooting I was able to do. Hitting steel during the day at 400….450.. then 500 yards with a AR15 was nuts.Also like how the menu has been simplified vs the old version. Just quicker and less button pushes.
