Works great, so if you can afford the price tag, it's a good choice, especially for someone with social media addiction. It's only a pity that you can't live stream to social networks: when the scope is paired to a smartphone via WiFi, the mobile data is disabled. So it's better to use video recording to save the data for publishing on FB or Insta later

The piggies can't hide from me now, I can see them through brush. The battery lasts the whole night and there is still juice for more. 0 issues so far. I would highly recommend this scope to anyone wanting to get into thermal.

I was a bit nervous spending this much money on a scope but I am very surprised and satisfied with it. It is easy to learn the menu and play with the setting, very intuitive interface. The image quality is phenomenal, a very clear and clean picture. I'm very happy with the scope and do recommend it to anyone who is interested in a good thermal scope for hunting.

I did a bone head move and mildly stripped two of the ring mounting screws when mounting my Thor 4. Called and spoke to Jacob Maynard and asJed it I could get a couple of screws. He responded that he’d place some screws and new rings in the mail right away. Talk about exceeding my expectations. Way to go Jacob and ATN!

Review for Thor 4 640 1.5-15x. I bought the scope to use as a night hunter on a AR in 6.5 Grendel, for pigs and maybe varmints some day. I purchased direct from ATN. They were very helpful narrowing down which scope was right for me. They actually recommended a cheaper one, I wanted one with the higher resolution sensor so spent a little more than they recommended. What I liked over other scopes in the same price range was the integration with the ABL on this scope to auto adjust the reticle based on laser range (and winds if I input them). Also the larger internal battery with a long life, and if I need more I can bring a battery pack and charge in the field. I did read ahead on the users manual, setup was rather easy. The menus are a bit, but that goes with the capability. I do not have any issues navigating, but don't expect to be three menus deep and be able to get out quickly for a shot. There should be no need to be in one of the deep submenus during normal shooting, only setup. Reticle, picture, and ABL setup was done at the house. There was an upper ring missing on the L-shaped ring; called customer service they shipped a replacement; easy to deal with. The picture is great, as you zoom as expected it gets pixelated; as expected. I am sure it is comparable to other scopes with the same sensor resolution. I did choose auto NUC on setup, and will probably keep it that way. I've brought it to the range three times now, holds zero. Sight in was super easy, sure takes the guess work out. It is difficult to see standard targets at the range where I shoot with a thermal scope, but they were good enough to zero and test. I did calibrate the recoil activated recording and it seems to be functioning; wasn't prior to calibration. I entered ballistic info from the chrono after the zero. Then shot steel 100,200, 300 yards using the ABL to laser range find and adjust the reticle; point of aim point of impact. I have been back and shot at paper at in between distances, and the auto adjustment of the reticle is spot on every time.

I purchase this scope 6 month ago, when supplies of everything were gone because of COVID… ATN was the only company that would ship a scope within a few days. After receiving my scope only 1 week after ordering I mounted on my AR10 .308 and went for pigs. The quality of the image is incredible (I have the 640 version). I can spot pigs 600-800 yards out. I hunt in fields loaded with cattle and all kinds of deer, but with this scope I can easily identify the pigs without any doubt. I called and emailed ATN a few times and they always responded very timely. I was warned not to buy ATN because of poor customer service. But I did anyways because it was the only product available. I couldn't be happier with this product. I added an ABL1500 and now I have a thermal with integrated range-finder…. I just love it. Now I am waiting for the quick detach mount to make easier to scout for pigs, so will report on that later.
