Barska Spotting scope 30-90X90 is really a great Scope. So far I have only used it at the 100yrd range for my .308 and AR .223 cal. a it works out for me just great. This Spotting scope has so much more range I haven't used it yet to its full potential.Totally pleased with the purchase and OpticsPlanet Value.

This has literally no eye-relief. I can not wear shooting glasses and use this scope b/c of the close to zero eye relief. I can't even sell it at a swap meet for $100 after someone looks through it. It was inexpensive for a scope with these specs, but this probably never should have made it off of the drafting table.

This was a relatively inexpensive upgrade from a 20-60×60 Spotter, and it meets expectations. The focus adjustment is smooth; and the 90mm objective provides a bright, clear view. The entire eyepiece is rotated to zoom in/out, and it feels a little "grainy", but 90x magnification is more than adequate for most use cases. There are a few things to note:1) The eye relief is virtually zero.2) A tripod is NOT included with this SKU, contrary to description in product comparison results.3) This is a large, heavy scope; you'll need a solid tripod to mount it on.

I purchased the Barska Colorado 30-90×90 WP Spotting Scope and took it to my gun club to test its effectiveness. In the same day a gentleman had a spotting scope with a tripod that cost roughly 8 times more than the Barska I purchased. There were differences in construction quality and glass clarity to be sure, but the point I’d like to highlight is that my Barska cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars less. My eyesight is decent and with the Barska spotting scope at full magnification I am able to see my impacts in white paper at 300 yards. I have access to 600 yard and 1000 yard ranges and while this item certainly helps you identify certain things at those distances I can not see impacts on targets. A rudimentary assortment of options to protect the scope are included, a lens cap, a fabric roll to Velcro around the optic, and a simple carry bag. For the cost of this spotting scope it’s really a no brainer. If you shoot 300 yards or closer it is very useful. Finding a tripod could be a harder task than you might think.
