I mounted this scope on my Ruger Blackhawk .357 with a mount that was also purchased from OpticsPlanet. Both worked great and stood up well at the range. My pistol is very accurate at 60 yards, I shot 30 rounds with no problems.

A Good Scope for this price range. It has done what it promised; could use A O and more magnification, but I didn't want to pay $400. Biggest difficulty in using on a Scout rail is the shooter's difficulty in getting a precisely consistent cheek weld; at 100 yards a small variation will move POI several inches. But, if you need a scope to "see" shooting an M-1, this will do the job without any side offset like other options. Would buy again.Pros: Low price, glass is fine for this useCons: Difficult to use accurately because of cheek movement

Mounted this scope too test out on a scout setup. It eye relief is long. Its a $100 scope and the W & E adjustments seem cheap the kind you turn with dime. Finish is junk. Buy it from Sportman's guide if you can they return any scope mounted or not.Optics Planet 99.9% Satisfaction Guarantee. How do you know your satisfied til you try something? Pros: Great eye ReliefCons: Finish scratches real easy, OP won't returm cause it was mounted. 99.9% Satifaction Guarantee!

I bought a $40 pistol scope on Amazon, and actually received a rifle scope with a long eye relief. You could look through at arms length and it was fine up to 3x, but any more magnification the field of view shrunk down to about 60%, and with the usual fuzzy edge on all lesser scopes. Basically, it was a good 2x pistol scope that worked out fine being a .22 rifle scope, whether it lasts or not, idk because it only has been around for a month. This BSA is excellent for the money. Full field of view at 7x and gathers good light at dusk, clear optics with the lenses being made by Nikon, no fuzzy edges, and a lifetime warranty. The only other scope in this price range (this can be found for around $70) is the Simmons, which I do like as much but is generally around $100. Being that this is going on an air pistol that was only $60, buying a Burris or a Leupold was out of the question.
