Order was shipped in a timely manner. Ok the scope , first off I like the scope , it does hold zero , BUT the piece of glass that the reticle is etched on is loose. Meaning it rotates to the right slightly as you're shooting . It's still accurate as long as your using the center of the cross hairs. It's when you try to shoot further out that it's going to cause an issue. You can shake the rifle to the left or lean it to the left and tap the scope and it will straighten back up . Who wants to do that every 5-6 shots ? The Illumination works, off setting in between each brightness setting on the dial, so I like that. The turrets are nice, positive clicks , the covers feel like cheap plastic. It would be worth the money if the etched piece of glass was properly glued in. Honestly, I can't say that I would recommend this scope to anyone at this time just because of the etched reticle floating around.

Made in China, but not chinsy – this is first grade, high quality optic perfectly executed with a reticle only Primary Arms can beat. Don't look at the reticle pic here, it's wrong. The real deal is much cooler – it's a floating cross (ala Russian orthodox) that can be 6 index red illuminated, with off between each indexes (this way you can keep it conveniently turned off right next to your favorite setting.) What sells this baby is the reticle. I've seem more reticles in my life than I care, but this one for a rimfire is absolutely deadeye. There's no reason to buy any other illuminated rimfire scope in this price range – this thing's a Mik Tyfoon circa 1985 – pummels the competition. If it only came with rings… (BTW, up until now I've never really looked at Bushnell, admittedly being a bit of a scope snob… but… no more… )

The Bushnell 3-9×40 rimfire is a great value! The DZ22 reticle has aiming points for 50,75,100, and 125 yds, which is a great feature. Superb brightness and contrast. Can't imagine any casual .22 shooter would ever need anything more.

Value for $$ is good & is the reason I chose 4 stars. The scope does exactly what its intended to do for the purpose it was designed. The scope sighted in flawlessly without wasting ammo & is certainly bright & clear enough to do what I intend. The reticle is nice & after checking it in an extreme low light scenario, it doesn't overwhelm & create unwanted glare when lit on 1. I have a Bushnell 3.5-10x36AO Prime & this scope is comparable, but the Prime is optically superior! however, the Prime compares favorably to scopes costing more than 2x its price IMO. Still, for a hunting scope, you can't go wrong with this one! I personally like the compact, lightweight & no-frills design in a hunting scope.
