I have Butler Creek covers on all of my rifle scopes. They work and protect the lens and keep them clean/ scratch free. Why buy an expensive scope and look through scratched/dirty lens? They just make sense….Pros: Value and functionCons: Sometimes hard to fit

This is the second set of these covers I have purchased and I could not be more satisfied. They protectmy scopes, flip open instantly and easily while being very easy to close after the kill. It is probably better to use calipers to measure the ocular and objective ends of your scope as the fit is very precise.

Although I understand sizes can't all be matched, none of the scopes have been on size for some reason. I have 6 scopes, and all seem to be off. So a chart that says from 41mm to 42mm would be great. Not just one size. Because I picked the smaller, thinking the next size up will be too large. But the actual covers end up being too tight. So if it falls inbetween, I guess order the next size up. Pros: Like how they work, and great priceCons: Sizes fall inbetween measured scope

Even though my new scope came with elastic lens covers I wanted the Butler Creek flip open objective lens cover. These covers remain attached to the scope while you are shooting, so they don't get left in your blind, at your shooting station, or on the ground when you leave. My Optics Planet sales rep selected the correct size for my adjustable objective scope, and it fits perfectly. These are my lens covers of choice.

Does fit the Athlon Ares ETR but man is it snug. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars. It's almost like 1 mm in diameter too small but it works. It may stretch a little over time. Regardless, for the price, yeah buy it!

My size 19 eye piece cover fits like a glove on my Nikon P223 3×9 scope could not me happier. The objective lens is a harder fit. I went with the size 30, I may have to sand it down a little, but I wanted a tighter fit rather than a loose fit. The Nikon p223 objective lens fall right between the size 30 and 31. So far I am very pleased, can't stand the bikini covers.
