Great scope for the price. This is a 127mm Maksutov Design with great optics. Colours are APO like. I can use on planetary up to 250X magnification without loss of details. The only issue is the mount seem to be a bit fragile to carry this big sized OTA. But for visual use it will be more than sufficient.Pros: Excellent opticsCons: Bad Mount

I got this telescope for my husband for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. Every night he goes out on the lanai to observe & is so excited over the ability of the telescope to track and find the galaxies. He can see the red spot on Jupiter. Absolutely love this. Pros: Very user friendly, lots of room for growth, consistancy is amazing.

This Scope has excellent optics. The tripod is shaky but it may be reduced with the anti-vibration pads. I would recommend this scope to any newcomer and Amateur and it is lite so you could take it anywhere. I am surprised on the Quality of the optics. The stars are like pin-points and the planets focus superbly. Excellent Scope for the money. Pros: Lite-Weight, Excellent views, Pin Point Stars, Nice goto Cons: Shaky Tripod, No Case,

I am a telemetry engineer and have a lot of experience with tracking antennas. I found the Celestron sky align and tracking to be extreamly poor. It is not usable. It can only get you within the general vicinity of an object +/- 10degrees. So you better have your finder scope very well aligned and know exactly what your looking at if you expect to put an object into your field of view. We had to use my sons iTouch app to find all but the most obvious objects.Pros: Good for the PriceCons: Sky Align is very poor

Came well packed – double outside box eithin a box – which held the Celestron scope in it's own Celestron box.Assembly instructions were straight forward and easy to follow.Missing were the Starry Night CD and the software CD for the hand control.

Do not attempt to get the manufacturer to help. They are in business only because their product is so wonderful.Pros: wonderful telescope. I get a new thrill just about every time I use it.Cons: A little difficult to get the computer star finder to work. No help from the factory (beyond rude…spent nearly two hours on hold and still got nothing but nasty E-mail comments. Even the distributer had no idea what the problem was. Took a while but now works beautifully.
