I mounted this on my Norinco NHM 91. I had to sand down the cheap thumb hole wood stock a small amount- where the back of the pic rail meets the stock. I mounted a light optic (red dot) that seemed compatible with the rail (considering the rail’s mounting points) and took it shooting a couple times. It all appears to work very well. I’d get this again. Looks good too. I’m glad they designed and marketed this- it’s the best option in my opinion.

This fits my Romamian Romarm/Cugir Draco perfectly, the full size, mine is not the mini or micro Draco, it also fits my Romanian WASR 10 Ak47 perfectly. I would reccomend this product for either of these.

I bought this for my Century Arms RAS-47 because I found the side rail mount was not reliable for holding zero with my red dot. I was NOT able to install it on my own, but my local gunsmith was able to attach it after doing some fitting work. The gunsmith I went to said he absolutely loved the railing and that it’s the most reliable railed AK dust cover he’s ever used. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I couldn’t install it on my own and it’s NOT compatible to the RAS-47 from Century Arms (which I didn’t discover until I went to the manufacturer website for the dust cover) UNLESS you get help from a competent gunsmith. Otherwise, it’s an awesome addition to my AK and I love it as a whole!

After using both the side mount rails and another dust cover from a competitor for optic mounting to AK, I tried the FAB defense cover. As usual, the Israeli's are light years ahead of everybody else. This cover is fantastic. Mounts very securely, allows use of existing irons and is easily removeable. Plus, it has more than enough slots for any optics you would care to mount. All in all, a great product.

So nice to have a long, solid picitany rail on my AK. Installs just as fast as the factory cover, but you can actually tighten this one down with ease. If you have an AK and standard cover…BUY ONE. So, is this long enough, or do I need to write more?
