I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has the same style mini 14 that I have .The installation was very easy as per the instructions included with the mount.It goes very well with my stainless mini 14.Ihave a Vortex strike fire red dot mounted on mine for now

Easy to remove the small plate from the mini-14 receiver to accommodate attachment of the mount Easy to attach the mount.Apparently, I didn't tighten the single mounting screw and/or adjustments enough–after first firings bullet placement shifted.Re-bore sighted, tightened all w/ added lock tight on all the screws.Appears now to be stable after fair amount of rounds fired.Would buy again–in fact i did for my son's Mini-14.

Anyone that owns an older model Mini (non ranch rifle) knows that it's nearly impossible to find any kind of scope or accessory mount. NOT ANY MORE! Here's the solution. This mount from GG&G Tactical is perfect. Just bought one for my 196 series Mini and it's great. Well made and fits perfect. With everyone out there catering to all the AR owners, it's nice to see someone who hasn't forgotten those of us who love our Rugers too.

I purchased a scope mount a few years ago and it was a peice of junk. I was reluctant to buy another one because i was not sure this one would be much better, was I wrong. This GG&G scope mount is rock solid well made. I am using it with a Monstrum 1×4 and could not be happier.It was easy to install and after 250 rounds it is still dead on.
