Just bought for a PSA Rock 5.7. Fits up perfectly. Easy to use, and I’d say on par with swamp fox and holosun quality. Got the green dot per preference. All features work as intended. I set the brightness to just visible in daylight and that seems to be fine transitioning to darkness, plus it’s easy to change the brightness without brandishing. Just figure out what you need for different environments and change it accordingly. Only complaint, which is a small one, in lower light conditions or with a sight picture that has lots of contrasting shapes I notice the refraction of the glass enough to notice. Have it shot red dots for long so I can’t speak to comparison and maybe this is normal. Either way, figured I’d mention it. Would definitely buy again.

Bought the Judge model with a 3 MOA green dot. My first experience with a green dot, and now I wish I could trade all my red dot sights in for green dot units that provide much better contrast with various targets for my eyes. The Gideon provided an excellent, clear dot and sight picture. Very impressed, particularly since my new Leupuld DP Pro on the same day, at the same south-facing shooting range produced a terrible series of vertically strung reflected images of the sun along with the red dot, giving a lousy sight picture. Gideon Judge = A+; Leupuld DP Pro = D. It is slick that Gideon provides a whole series of mounting screws for their optic. They do not provide a rubber cover for the optic that I would like to have.

Mounted to a Rossi 92 tacticool and it works great. I have astigmatism and has very little blurring. The glass is super clear. I used a bore sight to line things up, grouping was tight and accurate .I'm happy with this purchase

Seems durable and fairly well made. The dot is bright and clear. What the pictures and other reviews don't mention is the bottom loaded battery is open faced aside from a thin plastic spacing sheet that you place between your pistol and the optic. This is to protect the battery and connections from moisture. This does make me nervous about the battery staying seated during use. I haven't put many rounds down range with it yet, so I can't say for certain. I originally bought this for use on my daily carry, but I'm not comfortable using it for that anymore. That being said, I think it's a great cheap option for a range toy with an rmsc cut.
