Note to Big Boy Owners (H006/H012 Series in .38/.357, .44m, .45lc, .41m, .327/.32) Previous production or 1st gen Brass Big Boy guns were drilled and tapped on the barrel under the rear sight, they were NOT drilled/tapped on the receiver. You will need to use BB-CSM for 1st gen H006 Brass Big Boy series. In 2011 we began shipping 2nd generation Brass Big Boy rifles which feature receivers that are drilled and tapped for the scope mount. For 2nd Gen Brass Big Boys you can use either the BB-RSM (weaver-style) or BB-RSMP (picatinny-style) rails. 2nd generation Brass Big Boys start with the following serial numbers: H006 = BB0047222 H006M = BB0015530M H006C = BB0021188C ALL H012 Series guns are 2nd Generation. Installation was super simple, remove factory screws, put rail on, put screws in, torque to spec. Mounted a tango MSR and hit the range. Mount held up perfectly fine even under recoil. Overall I'm happy with it, but a word to the wise, this mount has a bit of rise to it and needs to be taken into consideration when choosing rings.
