I wanted to mount a red dot on top of a 1X4 scope, and to clear the elevation adjustment turret I needed a riser mount, thus a device that would mount on a 30mm scope ring with a 1913 rail for the red dot. This item did the trick perfectly and now I can shoulder the rifle and get a sight picture at red-dot range much faster.Couldn't find a similar item elsewhere.Thanks, Optics Planet!
