The M82MT is designed to be mounted on a Springfield 1903A3. The M82MT is non-parkerized. The shooter can parkerize the mount to match the finish of his or her barrel. This 7/8in scope mount is for use with the Malcolm M82G2 2.5X Vintage Reproduction Scope. This mounting kit allows the shooter to adjust windage externally in the base. Mount is fine but It does not include screws to mount receiver so two 8-40 x 3/4 (Brownells) weaver oval screws will also need to be acquired and shortened. Screws provided for rings are also the wrong type. Ring holes are tapered for weaver oval 8-36 x 1/4. Comes with slotted screws with wrong head. I got hex head screws at Ace Hardware from Gun screws box.
