Holosun keeps getting better! They keep making improvements to their sights, someday they will get us the perfect sights we want; until then I'll keep using their "best for the price" ones they are currently making. I have a 6-minute dot too, which is OK, but this "M.R.S." dote is better for me as I'm rather new to using Red Dots again. I'm 76 years old and put my first red dot, (an Aim-Point), on a Rugger 22 pistole back in 1987. A little bit of advice on finding the dot (you will be able to find it); practice dryfiring with a "laser dry-firing cartridge" (that's where the "multi-Reticle" comes in handy. By just using the 32 minute circle" without the center dot, it is easy to see your hits. I practice indoors at 15 to 25 feet, using a 2" diameter silver reflector as my target (really easy to see my hits). Make sure you are good at bringing your pistol up and are lined up on the target with your iron sights, if you can't be lined up with your iron sights, you won't be lined up with the red-dot (maybe not even being able to find it). Don't worry about the internet advise on how to find the dot, When you are starting out on anything, you fist print on paper with lines, before you can write on unlined paper! get good technique at bringing your pistol up and being on target with your iron sights! I can see my iron sights low in the red-dot window, and with proper red-dot sight picture your iron sight will be a little bit of a triangle, with the front sight post just above the rear sight height. Even my old eyes with cataracts, can automatically digest my sight window picture and put the "dot" where I want it to be. I wrote this thinking someone might be new to "red-dot" sights; but it is a really good unit and the auto on/off feature, with it's large battery is the best. Good luck!

The new EPS Carry is a totally new product for me The way you can keep the screen clean is amazing, no more lint or other debris that require constant cleaning just a simple wipe of the rear screen and your go to go.I really like the multiple reticle and the green is better for my eyes Thank you

After carrying with this optic, I discovered fortunately not the hard way that the optic brightness had changed due to the pressure from holster on the optic buttons. Readjusted to my preferred setting then enabled lock. Issue resolved. Use the lock mode or you may find yourself in a worse situation.

You can’t beat the price, or the functionality of this Holosun EPS Carry Enclosed MRS. As I get near retirement, the MRD is the way forward for me. I installed Suppressor Height Sights, and it Co-Witnesses perfectly.

The good – I like this optic a lot so far – this could be a 5 star review. Seems like a quality build, it's shape and size is great for my new P365 X-Macro, and I like the multiple reticle options and auto brightness option. The Bad – Holosun advertises it as a direct mount to Sig's optic ready guns. Which it is…but the included screws work ONLY with the included adapter/spacer plate under the optic! You can't flush mount it to the slide without the spacer because the screw shoulders are too long…which in my mind means it's not really a "direct mount"! If it sat flush on the slide without the plate, you'd be able to co-witness with this optic mounted, with the spacer under it, you can't. Search online on YouTube, several gunsmiths have posted about this problem and go thru your options. The good – The base footprint of the mount is right, and there are aftermarket screws you can buy which WILL allow you to mount it without the Holosun plate under it. Holosun will also supposedly send you the needed screws for free to direct mount (I've already emailed them, hopefully they'll send me some). But for a $400+ optic, you'd think they'd throw a couple of 5 cent screws in the box for a true direct mount on Sig's most popular line of optic ready guns? Unfortunately I now have to spend more time and ammo to re-zero my gun when I remount the optic with new screws.Adirondack
