I have this and also the 507c. I don't think I can go back to a red dot that you have to turn on and off. The shake awake has never failed and it's great not having to think about turning the red dot on and off. The red dot itself is a nice size at 2 moa and I can pick it up quickly as it co-witness with my front site. The solar panel adds a bit of security to the battery which on its own lasts a long time. Fits on a standard rmr mount which I think it's harder to find a slide that doesn't have this built in! This is great for a handgun but I prefer the round circle or 507c which has both reticles on my ARs.

Eyes aren't what they used to be. Never used a red dot…thought I would give it a try. Bought new Custom CZ 9mm for birthday and it was 6 inches off and low with non adjustable iron sights. Bought this Holosun based on Omaha SWAT PD recommendation. Within 50 shots and a few clicks I was crushing groups of 1.5 MOA at 10 yards. Game changer. Optics Planet also delivers on time, in great shape, as expected. Recommend trying a holosun out!

I'm a Steel Challenge competitor. Speed and accuracy are important in lowering your time. I have three of these red dots. They're AWESOME with my aging eyes. I like to thank TEAM OPTICS PLANET for their excellent service. The HOLOSUN 407X2 is great for shooting, hunting or competition. They're durable. I have dropped weapon with these sights and they have performed very well in auster conditions. Not one of them failed me yet. I used these every weekend shooting anywhere from 200-300 rounds per outing. I highly recommend these sights.
