Fantastic transaction. This Holosun weapon sight is Light weight and tough as nails. I am happy with the product as it is my second time purchasing it. Will likely purchase more. Thank you Optics Planet

The holosun LE221 is truly a solid device for your rifle. There are videos on YouTube that support this claim and actual footage of it being used. I love the capability of zeroing the laser and IR at the same time. A user friendly product that’s also budget friendly too. This device increases your range time and not fooling around with adjusting that’ll take up a lot of rounds and time on the range

After purchasing night vision, I needed to have an ir laser/ir illuminator for my ar15. I initially purchased the surefire m600 ultra, but didn't had enough in my budget for an all in one vis laser/vis illuminator and ir laser/ir illuminator device. I wanted a robust Vis/IR laser unit so I purchased the holosun le221. The holosun le221 doesn't have an ir illuminator, but I did have a surefire m600 light. I purchased this head because it allows me to utilize a bright flashlight and also served as an IR illuminator. Now the only obstacle remaining was a solution that would allow me to utilize the ir laser/ir illuminator at the same time and the ir illuminator separately. The Unity Tactical TAP SYNC Switch was the perfect solution for this. I can utilize the IR laser/IR illuminator together and separate and if I just want the laser, I can press the botton on the top of the unit. If I want to use the flashlight, I just habe to turn it a couple notch. There are three settings you get when you install this head. One turn with an audible click you get the Flashlight, the next turn, a convinient off setting in the middle, and the final turn, an IR illuminator. This product is a very affordable solution that allows you to utilize existing equipment if you already have the m600 light, but want to purchase an slightly less expensive aiming laser module while retaining the utility of a second flashlight.

Picked one of these up shortly after release, its a pretty solid laser. Mounts directly over the bore so you don't have to worry about parallax. I did have an issue with POI shift the first time I shot it, but tightening up the QD lever a couple clicks resolved that. Hasn't moved since. Excellent visibility on low and high settings. The switch connector is Crane compatible so you can use it with any of your typical dual switch (ex. surefire) setups. There is a small light on the back of the unit which is barely visible in total darkness to let you know the laser is on. It's unobtrusive and doesn't cause a signature issue.

This sight is tough and durable with its titanium housing. The controls are crisp and intuative. So far I am happy with the build quality, especially at this price point. Seems a bit heavy, but that isn't completely unexpected.

I own two LE221s laser sights in green. As a reference I am comparing performance to an L3 Harris Antipal-C pointer/illuminator which I have used for 2-3 years with no complaints.Originally purchased the Antipal-C in 2022 because its L3, well designed, proven track record and made in USA. Ideally, Holosun which is based in Orange County, CA will pivot manufacturing to Taiwan – or any other place besides PRC.The L3 laser is housed in a rugged polymer body and houses a larger diameter laser pointer, whereas the Holosun is housed in an absolutely bombproof! cast titanium housing and casts a thinner pointer beam, which to my eye I is more precise. The Holosun heavier than the Antipal – and this model does not include an illuminator, which I now prefer. I found the switch on the L3 busy and not intuitive whereas the Holosun is a very simple switch that you can read looking forward towards target, vs having to glance on top of the Antipal to switch between pointer power or other function. I combine the LE221 set up with a SF 640v IR+W light and together it is a better set up for me better than a integrated illuminator + pointer.Reduced by one star only due to origin of manufacture.
