This is my first Holosun sight . Quick release mount works ok but release lever will pivot forward after release which will change the tension on the mount. Holosun could have taken a lesson from Aimpoint on their quick release system . The on- off and dot intensity buttons need to be elevated higher to make it faster to change dot intensity without having to look for the correct buttons and also to turn the sight on and off . Sight holds zero very well from center fire rifle recoil. Dot intensity can be reduced if you have an astigmatism so the dot appears round instead of spikey. Sight comes with a small screw driver for sighting in and a lens cloth. Field of view is excellent and if mounted forward to the correct height you can pick up the circle, dot and target instantly. If you have never owned one of the more expensive dot sights then you will not be displeased with the Holosun , for the price ,,it's a pretty good dot sight.

I previously purchased a number of optics from other companies due to my astigmatism. Mine is very strong on both eyes and the only optics that work are the ones with the red dot etched on the glass such as the primary arms raptor. My requirements were a large viewing window, strong construction and light weight. This holosun exceeded all my expectations. The grey color is also cool and beats the same boring black and brown options. Regarding astigmatism, the dot has 3 viewing options that effect the sharpness of the dot. The red dot by itself is about a 7 out of 10 in sharpness due to mild fuzziness and starburst. The red dot with the 65 MOA ring option is about a 9 out of 10 in sharpness with little fuzziness. The 65 MOA by itself option is about a 9.5 in sharpness minimal fuzziness. Also the large shooting window makes it easy to aim with both eyes open if preferred. I mounted this optic on a 300 blk and it holds zero with no problem, I have used green dots in the past to compare to the red dots in sharpness, and I personally see little difference in sharpness. This HS510C is awesome due to the large viewing widow, shake and wake, lightweight, and great for shooters with astigmatism.

Only thing i didnt like was the elevation and windage adjustments didnt have a nice click when adjusting felt kinda spongy, really like the battery life with that solar panel it has built in, the construction is solid havnt had a ton of range time with it but the time i have had running it i have enjoyed useing it.

Received my 510c wolf Grey Holosun with green dot. The appearance is awsome, functionality is easy, material seems to be of quality. The sight picture is great at as well. But if I'm being honest I have a sight mark R spec that seems to be very comparable to the Holosun 510c at a Price difference of $200.00. I will say that the Holosun 510c solar power feature isa great advantage. Is it worth the extra money, that would be for you to decide. I have no regrets with either purchases.
