I installed this adapter on a 1911 that had been machined for a Wichita Sight. The sight is similar to a Bomar so I thought I'd give it a try. It was a tight fit and needed slight filing to get it to fully seat in the dovetail. Tight is always better.

Novak type mount. Perfect fit; press in and secure with set screw. Installed on a Coonan 1911. Use a feeler gauges to insure mount is centered. Very secure mount. Will have to order an adapter for any sight that's not a JPoint.

I am very pleased with this mount adapter. The finish is excellent and it fits perfectly. I have absolutely no complaints I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for this type of adapter.

I used this adapter to mount a JPoint sight on a Ruger Redhawk revolver. The mount fit perfect and is very solid, no issues.

This is the solution to your red dot mounting problems. This mount is simple, very easy to mount and hold the sight system in perfect alignment. If you have a red dot and have trouble finding a mount check with these folks

I am using this mount (and sight) on a Wilson Combat .45 and after six months (probably 10-15 range visits) I noticed that the adapter was wiggling in the slide and with a push from me it actually would come off the gun. I took it to my favorite gunsmith and he drilled a small dent for the lock screw to set into and added fresh lock-tite. Otherwise this adapter is excellent. It keeps my JP RDS low and is as close to milling the slide as possible, without milling the slide. I do need one shim under the sight.I anticipate perfect results after the recent modification.
