I got the Konus 8×42 military for my son for Christmas. I'm impressed! For the money these are very clear and well made. This is my son's first set of real binoculars and he likes them a lot. Heck, even I like them enough I might order another pair to have as a backup set!

Average level binocular but for the price can be a good choice for occasional usage and for kids to start. It's mechanics is quite ok, though optical covers don't seem to be rather durable, but with BAK4 prisms these bins present not bad overall picture contrast and don't produce any meaningfull eye strain that binos in this price can cause
