Wasn’t sure what to expect for the price point, but this is pretty light weight and clear-glassed optic. A bit large, too big for my pocket but comes with a softcase that can attach to a belt. Nice lens caps and has screw in port for attaching to a tri-pod type mount on the bottom. This will go in my range bag and I think it’s perfect for that application.

I live in NYC, don't get to the "outdoors"as much as others who seem to be into optics, but after getting a pair of antique binoculars from a friend, I started doing my research looking for something backpack/city friendly. I was pointed to the vortex solo line by an employee at a week known 34th Street camera + store, but the cheapest ones, 8×25 were still 70$. I found the konusmall 2 on a competitors page for a better price and grabbed it. Bigger than I expected, the pictures can be misleading depending on context. They work better than an old pair of 7×35 ansco binoculars a friend has, and even when I dialed up the zoom a bit it was manageable as far as light and shake, as long as you're not going all the way to 17. One dislike is that when the monocular is fully collapsed on itself, the quick focus will not get you a clear image unless you also twist for the fine focus. You could leave it twisted out a bit and then collapse it to be able to get an in focus image faster but it feels like it should be made as small as possible to put away. (Or my OCD doesn't like leaving it partially untwisted.) If that's confusing, look at more pics of it, because the initial ones I saw wouldn't have let me understand that. Can't really compare to anything else, but I can say that for 1/3 the price of the other recommended model, that works great within the 7-10 magnification range day or night, it let me feel like I have the best of many options at a safe price. I will no doubt buy more expensive and smaller ones, as well as binoculars, but this was a great start. Sorry if it's rambling sounding but I couldn't find enough info on these before I bought them myself, here's to anyone who can't walk into a store and hold them first that was in my position.
