It is a great gun range spotting scope with clear optics that shows impacts on the targets. It is priced right for general use for a spotting scope. The tripod is not field ready but works off a bench.

Clarity out to 200 yards is pretty good, as is the brightness of the image. Overall for close in work it is adequate.However, I tried to focus in on a target at 300 yards and could not get the clarity to seethe target clearly, never mind see the holes in the paper. I also noticed at max magnification I could see that the focusing lens tips/rocks when adjusting. It was disappointing when I could clearly see the target and *almost* make out the holes with my Konus F30 rifle scope, but not really surprising considering the price point. Good glass costs good money.

I have an old tasco spotting scope and was sure this would be an upgrade. we wanted to use it for animal viewing on vacation. I set it up and tried to look at a fence post 1/4 miles away. I could not get it to be clear. I could see it but it was not clear. I got out the old tasco and it was so much better. Maybe it is ok at 100yard for target shooting I didn't try it for that. I doubt it though. I would not buy this for any reason at any price. I was completely unsatisfied with it.

Great quality, easy to use, quick to set up. Fast shipping. I use this with my shooters box when I go to the range. For the money it is more than I expected. I highly recommend this spotting scope to everyone!

Just received it. Haven't been to the range yet. Have looked through it down my street, several times. I have had some difficultly zoning in on objects. Eye relief seems to be a bit of a problem so far. However, I believe it is very good value for the money.
