Nice Scope for the price. Illumination is great with the variety of colors for just about any purpose. Wish it had come with high scope rings instead of medium (with medium rings, the scope would rest on the rail), but hard to complain at the price.

For the price you can't beat it . Put it in a10/22 great fun at the range. Good quality. Nice lense covers. Fairly compact. I don't use the light up reticle but you don't have to. The mounts it's comes with are solid.
Leapers Fan –
This scope was for my custom 22LR rifle and it works great. Clear and crisp optics. The parallax turret is difficult to turn, but I don't mess with much anyway. So if you are going to be shooting multiple distances I'd get the SWAT wheel (not included) to give yourself more leverage and make it easier to adjust. The Leapers rings that come with it work really well and hold the scope very well. No issues there. I'm planning to get another one of this same scope for my custom AR build with an 18in. barrel. 16x should be plenty for shooting out further than 100yds. I think it would work very well at 100yds for bench rest shooting. Most of my shooting is done offhand and sitting. You'll get to enjoy the money you save on other toys going with a Leapers.

Until reciently I'd never bought a UTG optic. I'v owned other products of theirs and always got a good product for the price. I ordered a couple of Bug Busters and liked them, so I thought I'd give this compact a try. I wasn't disappointed. I put it on a budget AR308 I'm assembling. Compact size fits platform. Holds zero well through power changes, many inexpensive scopes don't. Optics are clear. Reticle is informitive but not busy. I don't care much for the multi colored reticle, but I'm sure many people like it. We'll see how it holds up to handling and recoil. 4 stars till then. Rings and lens covers are a nice touch too. Bottom line – if you're looking for a scope in the $100 price range- I don't think you'll find a better buy.

This is the fourth UTG that I have. They are clear, bright, and hold zero very well. The lighted reticle is nice in low light conditions, and the scopes hold up in .223, 5.5 Creedmoor, .308 and .338 applications.

I won't waste your time repeating what others have already said about UTG Scopes. The fact is that my 29 years as a LEO does not make me an expert in optics but my 30 plus years using optics gives the right to weigh in on such a topic. The UTG 4-16X44 30mm Compact Scope is not a thousand dollar Leopold scope it is however an excellent scope for those of us looking for great optics at a great price. It holds zero and takes a beating on my M&P 15 in 5.56/223. The light up multi-colored reticle, rings and mount are a nice freebie included. I have nothing bad to say about this scope, on the contrary its nice to get more than what you paid for. I will continue to purchase Leapers/UTG products and will obtain them from Planet Optics because they have the best price and stand by their product.
