We purchased 3 of these for our kids. They were Ready to mount on their AR’s , they seem to like them , green / red dots are very visible in day time , I would definitely buy one for myself. Quick and easy detach makes it that much better

I purchased this red dot to use in conjunction with a Leapers UTG 3X Magnifier (also purchased from OpticsPlanet) to put on my Excel Arms AR57 (5.7x28mm). My first use was at an outdoor rifle range, and I had no difficulty with the brightness of the reticle even in full sun. It's really nice to have red and green in the same unit. It was a cinch to zero, but I've not yet had a chance to put a lot of rounds through this gun to determine how well it holds. However, I'm not worried about it due to the low recoil of the 5.7 round. As with the 3x magnifier, I really like the QD mount that includes an Allen screw to adjust tightness of the lever. I probably wouldn't use this style of mount on a gun with more recoil, but the AR57 should not be a problem. Given the price of other options, for an occasional shooter like me, this sight is a GREAT value.

Scope appears to be well made. This isn't the scope in the photo, but is the correct model number. Bothe the red and green dots are plenty bright. The controls are click in a very positive manner with no creep or slack. The QD mount is very easy to attach to th he rail. I haven't been to the range yet as i am still waiting for the handguard and muzzle device. I will repost after i have run a few runs through it to test the gun and the scope.

I purchased this sight wanting to know if I'd like shooting my AR with a green dot, instead of a cross hairs scope. Going into this purchase I knew I might have issues with my astigmatism. In fact I do have slight distortion of the red dot and even less with the green. I had 2 different friends look through the sight to confirm if reticle itself was skewed or if it is my eyes. It's my eyes. Both people told me both green and red reticles are clear and "dot" shaped. To prove it to myself I took photos of both reticles. It holds zero nice and solid. The turrets both have lock screws to fix it in place. I personally don't use them. QD works as it should and sight is still zeroed after take-off/re-install. It's a nice sight. Id buy it again, if I ever need to. But, it's a well made item. Should last a long time. If not, the manufacturer customer service takes care of its customers. I wish I could post the photos of both reticles, but this app doesn't appear to have a add on link.

The dot looks like a firework burst in low light conditions but works perfectly if you’re using it during the day. Seems to hold zero fairly well, because I’ve bumped and manhandled my rifle quite a bit and I’m able to maintain 3 MOA.

Overall this scope rocks. The quick detach mounts it comes with are strong and steady. Unfortunately however you have to use the included mounts because of the size of the scope which can be seen as either a good thing or bad thing. One thing that did upset me is how the red dot is not quite as bright as I would have liked but still completely usable. Put around 1000 rounds of .223 from my ar-15 and have not lost my zero. The only reason why I wouldn't give it a 5 is because of the flip up covers it was included with. By 100 rounds, the front one had already broken off. However the scope, which is the important part, is great. Works perfectly and for its price no scope can beat it. Even the imitation eotechs and aimpoints cost more than this scope and don't nearly work as well. I would highly recommend this scope for anybody looking for a red dot optic even if you have the money for a more expensive scope.Pros: Price, accuracyCons: red dot weak/ front flip cover broke from recoil
