I put this on my rem 870 12 ga. It went on in under 10 minutes and fit perfectly- very solid and great for a red dot. If you’re not someone who has worked on very many guns- don’t fret this is an easy add. Couple taps with a punch, pins come right out, the mount slides right on and then the pins tap right back in. The red dot mounts right on with a picatinny mount and is very solid, no wiggling.

When I first ordered this mount, I didn’t know it would take about two months to receive this mount which I really couldn’t understand. It was very easy to mount and was a perfect fit on my weapon. I would highly recommend this mount.

The Leeper's mount fit my 870 tactical shotgun perfectly. I followed the installation instructions and placed the shims to match the mount frame. The mount tightened down securely and stayed secure shooting slugs and clay pigeons. It's a good alternative to drilling and tapping your gun. I'm using a vortex red dot with the mount.
Meatloafmania –
Small plates that sit behind the mount to allow for a more flush fit to the receiver are quite awkward and like to slip out during installation. Not well thought out. Shell saddle has two issues. It does not sit flush with the receiver. As a result it will snag on the front side and chew your flesh up on the back end. Additionally the shell holders themselves are not adjustable and as such over time will flex and become loose. Not a lot of alternatives out there that allow you to mount a reflex sight on your shotgun without drilling and mounting a rail. Not bad for the price point. Will most likely keep it and see how it goes.

This is perfect for the 870. It Mounts perfectly to the existing trigger pins and is very solid.
