NO GUNSMITHING. At all. You just need to remove the coordinating screws on the top of the shotgun and then install the mount with the included mount screws. Fits like a glove. Used blue loctite as with all screw-in additions to any firearm. Low price, rock sold steady mount, easy as can be install. What's not to love!Pros: Easy Install, rock solidCons: none

Solid and inexpensive. It has held up fine on a Mossberg 590A1. Adds practically no weight to your firearm. I would but it again if I needed one or two more. Most of the Leapers items I have purchased are of good quality and very reasonably priced.Pros: solid and inexpensive
