Nice covers. Lightweight but provide good protection for the scope. With my 50mm bell, I had to take the scope off the rifle to install the covers. After that worked like a champ.Pros: solid, lightweight, good fitCons: had to remove scope to install

These work as expected, although a little pricey. They screw into place which is a secure design. However, they're easily made off-center, depending on the adjustment of your ocular lens. This is not a real issue; more cosmetic than functional. Otherwise a nice product.

Only problems i had were that i had to remove the scope from my rifle to mount the covers. Plus i had to remove the rubber eye protector in order to mount the scope cover. Seems to be a quality product. Made of durable aluminum and quiet to operate. We'll see how protective they are come deer season.

I thread Alumina caps onto all my Leupolds right out of the box. They keep the lenses clean and 100% sealed, and they look way better than any slip ons caps. If you plan to buy the Leupold protective cover, the 12.5"x42mm (53576) fits nice and snug

Have 8 sets on everything from 243 win to 300 Winchester Magnum and work perfectly. Don't open until you open them and keep the optics clean and dry. Never had a problem with them opening prematurely.vx3hd and vx5hd optics I have.

Folks, you do not need to remove your scope or use Lock Tight to mount these covers. The threaded portion turns independent of the flip up cover. Leupold, please include instructions with these; I almost sent mine back.Otherwise, love them.Pros: Elegant, smooth acting, weather proof coversCons: No instructions…almost sent them back.
