Great lens cover ! Been using them for about 10 years now and very reliable and durable. O-ring seal keeps dust and moisture out. And you can flip them all the way back flat against scope so they not in the way.

This is just what I needed to keep the dust out here in the Arizona desert, and it fit my VX5HD scope perfectly. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it doesn't flip flat onto the scope. Where you see it stopped in the stock photo is where it actually stops and cannot flip further, I wish it could lay fully flat onto the scope but I guess that isn't a huge deal, I am just worried about hitting it on something and bending/breaking it since it stops up in the air like that.

The fitment of this scope cover is perfect. Quality is great, and the flip up deployment is near silent. A huge plus for a hunting application. The quality you would expect from a factory Leupold product. Would highly recommend.

Best flipback caps on the market! Quiet and very easy open and fold flat for over scope viewing. They screw into the objective bell of your scope so no need to worry about needing a gap between the objective bell and barrel as with other aftermarket scope caps. If you own a Leupold scope this should be the only scope cover you own.

There are huge advantages to using these lens covers in my experience.When open they fold flat on top of the scope so you can look at your target when mounting your gun up to your shoulder and your view isn’t blocked with a cover sticking up in the air. You can also mount the scope as low as possible without the concern your slip on cover won’t fit. (I have literally ground off the bottom of plastic covers to make them fit-then they loose tension)There is zero obstruction when looking through the scope.Fantastic quality built to last.

I put these on several scopes, and they are worth it. Flip up to use, and when they're closed they are locked down tight. I had the Butler Creek flip ups, and they are junk which fall off, flimsy plastic. These are a bit much, but for a nice Leupold scope they are worth it and look great.Pros: Works great, highest qualityCons: A little pricey for what you get
