The Leupold Browning AB3 Quick Release Mounting System eliminates time spent adjusting/configuring your scope and returning to within 1/2 inch of your original point-of-impact. Leupold created two-piece scope mounts for Browning rifles with an adjustable cheekpiece. With the Quick Release function, all you have to do is disengage and engage the lever on the left side of the mount for your scope to come free. The mechanism is so easy and secure that a non-leaning body can easily raise and lower a scope with a simple hand motion, while the straight handle makes it easy to install on the opposite side. A lever on the right side of the ring keeps your scope from inching forward, while the lever on the right side keeps it securely in place. The patented lever also retracts the scope with a simple press of the thumb lever, so you don’t waste any time on complicated secondary locking systems or installing scope rings that get in the way. Quick Release base clamps are steel and require that the ring be returned to zero after each use, and re-zeroing is easy with the Leupold Scope Mount Adapter. I now have these on 5 rifles and I would highly recommend to anyone. I have been able to remove and reinstall the scopes for cleaning purposes and suffer no loss of accuracy in the process. The ability to remove and reinstall with no loss of accuracy is critical to me as I remove scopesgor for traveling to protect from damage.

These bases are exactly what I needed. I don’t like to store my guns with the scopes mounted. These bases let me remove the scope and put it back on without losing zero. They were easy to install and stay on tight. Love ’em.
