The scope rings fit well and look very good on the gun. There were no problems on installation. They were shipped in a timely manner. I fit a 50mm scope with a 1 inch tube quite nicely and make the gun look complete and elegant.

This is a solid set up on my early model L579. Clean look and set up easily. But since it only tightens from one side, you need to be sure that both ring mount are in line with each other to avoid torquing your scope. Hi bought these as an option to the Optilock. I have my doubts, but I’m known to be overly skeptical. They mounted up easy enough. The one piece design seems sturdy enough. I am guessing they set up self wedges under recoil? Time will tell. I lap all my rings; prior to lapping they seemed very concentric.

Used these on my Sako AV. Really wanted the Gloss rings for the rifle so that they would match. Riflescope has held zero with these rings on a .416 rem mag. I am impressed, great product for the Sako rifles.

I have an M74 Super (L61R Finnbear) .30-06 with an early '70s Leupold M8 7.5×40 fixed scope.The original weaver mounts had a screw that went into the knurling and also were so low that my scope was too far forward. I originally ordered the medium Leupold mounts and while they did allow the scope to slide back a little further (providing better eye relief) the front part of the scope was still hitting the barrel. Finally I got these high mounts and this has allowed me to slide the scope back far enough for comfortable eye relief and the scope still sits low enough to look attractive. These fit well on the Sako dovetail and looked great.I returned the rings as I need some how need 20 MOA mounts as My rifle tends to shoot low. One complaint was that one base screw was cross threaded at the factory.
