OpticsPlanet was the first place I saw this model. I had used the SX-5 before and was going to purchase that when I found this. I do not spot enough to justify the SX-5, so I figured I would give this one a shot. Could not be more impressed and happy!!! Very clear picture, all the way to the edges and great in low light. Took it shed hunting to put it through some testing, and like I said….. it is an Awesome spotter!!!

This scope is great out to 500 yards but that’s about it. I’d say for the money it’s decent but my looking at deer at 1000+ yards all I can tell you is that it’s a buck or doe. I cant see points at all. Honestly if your wanting a spotter for open country just save for another year and upgrade.

Great scope. Good light collection.Cons – lens caps are cheap. Large cap annoying to replace quickly. Small one does not stay on in pack. Ribbed rubber cap on scope angle adjustment knob already fell off. Left with small smooth metal knob that is hard to turn. Neoprene scope cover is not well thought out. Bunches when you adjust scope angle.Great scope for viewing. Definitely cut corners on the little things.
