I ordered and paired this with a Vortex Strikefire II red dot (didn’t like the cantilever mount). I prefer a lower 1/3 co-witness and the height of this unit is just slightly taller than the stock Vortex mount and results in a clean sight picture. The QD functionality is easy to set and rock solid when done. Fit and finish are very good. I’ve had my red dot on and off the rail and this QD unit holds zero dependably.

I bought this mount for a replacement of the original mount that came with my Aimpoint PRO. This is a very solid mount and I am very pleased with the fit and finish. The lock up is very nice and tight and the install was simple. For the money it's the best one for any 30mm optic. Optics Planet has great deals and a wide selection of products. I am one again a happy customer!

This is a outstanding mount! I went to the range and thought i had it tighten enough but it was loose…. I took it off made it one turn tighter and boom still zeroed…. I was in aww… I see the hype about the qd mounts ……

In the Q&A it states it is a 1/3 mount but what I received was a co-witness mount the package even states it is co-witness it is still a really nice mount and I will keep it and use it but some one should really update the product information

I bought this for my Aimpoint patrol rifle optic. I had to tighten it again once after originally mounting it, but now, after a couple thousand rounds, it is still secure. This is much more affordable than Aimpoint’s QR mount and just as good.

Hey, bought this to replace the standard aimpoint ACO mount on my ACO. Why? I wanted QD capability for this particular optic.Everything was going great installing it, untill i went to check and see if the battery cap could come off… it couldnt, the mount was in the way. So I loosened it and pushed the optic as far as it could go forward in the cradle and now it has enough clearance but looks really dumb.Anyway, heads up to anybody looking at this, not enough clearance for the battery cap on the ACO. PRO probably the same story aswell.
