The Monstrum Tactical Offset Dual Ring Picatinny Scope Mount is built to mount standard 1 inch tube scopes to any standard Picatinny rail equipped rifle. The offset design provides an additional 2 inches of forward extension, allowing extra flexibility for optimum eye relief and shooting position. The mount is 5.75 inches in total length. The base is 3 inches long with the mounting bolts spaced 2 inches apart, a minimum of 3 inches of rail space is required to install. The height between the top of the base to the bottom of the scope rings is 1 inch, providing 1 inch of vertical clearance. The mount is constructed of lightweight 6061 aluminum, the mount weighs a mere 9 ounces. Seems like with a little more design thought, a few ounces could have been removed without sacrificing Strength, probably with a slight increase in cost and machining time

Over the past three years I've ordered several of these and they have become my "go-to" mount for AR scopes. They are very sturdy and the finish as good as what I've seen on more expensive cantilever mounts I've purchased in the past. But I figure why pay more, so now I don't. I'm careful not to torque the screws too much. I get things nice and snug with blue Lock Tite and then no issues.
