When lining up your shot, every last ounce counts! Which is why we designed the Monstrum Tactical Slim Profile Series of mounts to be sleeker and lighter than ever. Crafted from lightweight 6061 aluminum, the Monstrum Tactical Slim Profile Series Dual Ring Offset Scope Mount weighs in at a mere 5 ounces. At a weight comparable to a set of lightweight rings, it provides the added rigidity and convenience of a one piece mount. The mount is built for standard 30 imm tube scopes for mounting to any standard Picatinny rail equipped rifle. The offset design provides an additional 2 inches of forward extension, allowing extra flexibility for optimum eye relief and shooting position. The mount is 5.5 inches in total length. The base is 3 inches in total length. There is 2.5 inches of spacing between rings. The height between the top of the base to the bottom of the scope rings is 1 inch, providing 1 inch of vertical clearance. The product arrived on time and mounted up perfectly. I wouldn’t put it on my duty rifle. Weekend fun guns or Plinkers it’s fine for.

I bought one of these from another vender. Paint was flaking off straight out of the box. Scope rings don’t line up. IF you get the quick clamps tight enough to hold on to the rail, you almost break your finger closing it. I can’t even say this would be good for airsoft guns. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $100 and buy a vortex or primary arms mount. You’ll thank yourself later.

Ignoring the tried and true notion of getting what you paid for, I tried to cheap out and get as much bang for the least buck. Big mistake with this mount. There is a reason the quick detach mounts are way more expensive than regular ones and it was in that mechanism that this product failed. One of the clamp bolts threads stripped during tightening/latching of the initial install. The design of the latch and the way it applies tension during tightening makes it difficult to find a decent sweet spot of tightness so you can latch and undo the latch…which is it's intended purpose. Also, after unlatching, the relatching needs more more adjustment because it doesn't keep it's originally set tension. Finally, after giving up on the QD and shopping for regular two-ring mounts, I read reviews of the Weaver tactical rings that are the same price. One of the reviewers mentioned that they have strong, square-shaped clamp bolts and that was a feature to look for. They are stronger and prevent foward/rearward shift in the picatinny slots. So I'm going with the Weavers.

The weaver slot is smaller then a picatiny, so it makes absalutely no sense that a weaver mount would have less forward and back play! That being said the monstrum moint is a good mount if you upgrade the screws better screws are not expensive that being said .y monstrum mount quick release is so tight i have to use something to pry it open and its held up just fine i give it four stars because its not a top of the line mount but it has held zero never shifted and has worked well enough that i have not bothered upgrading it witch was my original plan just to see if i liked the offset amount

I was a little unsure about this product given the other reviews, but after receiving it and using it for some time now, I can say this is very good product despite its low price. You do have to set the tension by adjusting the screws on the opposite side of the levers. I've set mine and swapped it around a couple different ARs and have had no issues with needing to readjust the tension. Holds my scope great. I've had it on my 350 Legend build and my 6.5 Grendel with no issues. On a side note, the sheen of the screws and nuts is semi gloss while the remainder of the parts are a matte.Highly recommend for the price.
