BE AWARE THAT YOU NEED TO MODIFY YOUR COVER WHILE INSTALLING BECAUSE EVERY AKM MANUFACTURER HAS DIFFERENT TOLERANCES!So I bought this last year and installed it on my CAI RH10 (Wasr 10). I had to modify it by sanding and bending a little to get it to fit. It works well for my weapon and does not pop off. It does give me issues for my iron sights because I have RPK style slights. It'll hit the top of the picatinny rail and will not allow me to use iron sights below 400 meters.pros- cheap- easy to setup- actually solid construction from NCstar for a budget buycons – modification is required for your weapon and doing it wrong may not make it fit- does not allow you to zero or use sights below 400 meters if using RPK rear style sights- it flat out may or may not work with your particular AKM due to your weapons original manufacturing tolerances

This will work but you will need to do some filing/ dremeling to get it fit. In addition, you will need to do some bending. Once you get it bent and filed it works. It actually becomes a solid mount. I ended up still getting a Texas Weapon System rail but this will work for those who maybe cannot make a purchase like that on limited budget. The rail itself is solid and it did not take me more than a couple of hours to fit it with relatively NO WOBBLE at all. However, I will say this…Do it slowly and you will not have any wobble…Start just ignorantly filing and dremeling and you will have a very loose fit. Worth the cheap price and a good alternative. The other reviewers did not put the work I did into making mine fit it seems. Out the box it won't…With time and patience it is a solid rail that now sits on my backup AK pattern. I would actually give it a 4.5…You can also see my Texas Weapon System rail review…So I can say this works and so does the TWS…This is cheaper by a ton.

Fits on my PSA GF3 with no mods/filing/dremel work. Not 100% stable but not terrible. looks good on my rifle. I’ll tweek a little to improve stability, mount an optic and give it a go.. For the price point, Im not hating it…

I would never recommend this item to anyone, it should be removed from your website. Fitment is horrible, does not stay attached to the firearm, damaged my optic when the piece of trash flew off from cycling the bolt by hand. Thin and flimsy construction. Holding screws are a joke. It’s for looks, not a chance your optic would stay on or zeroed.
