Have an older M&P that has no mounting points for a picatiny rail system. Had never used a claw mount before. Decided to purchase one and just try it out before drilling and tapping holes. Found this one for only around $8, so I decided why not try it. Fit like a glove, and hasn't moved since I've shot it (about 250 rounds).

This mount worked perfectly on my H&k Mp5 .22LR despite tons of comments to the contrary. Super easy to install, too three seconds and haven't touched it since. Don't know why there is such an insane range in pricing for these mounts where it's either $12 or 100$ but there's no reason to spent the money on the high end one when this one works perfectly fine. Thanks optics planet for always having the deals and shipping super fast whenever I tell myself I need something new to throw on my setups that I already spend way too much money on, might as well get a deal or two on atleast a few of those.

As another reviewer stated, this may work for the airsoft version of the HK 22lr, but there is no way this is going on the real thing without causing serious damage to the receiver. If it were not so cheap, I would be pretty cheesed off about this piece of garbage.

It did take some effort to push the claw down onto the receiver, but once done and in place, it was snug and allowed me to screw it down for a tight fit. Enjoying the rifle much more with an optic mounted. Highly recommend at this price!

Used it as a scope mount on my 22 caliber STG 44 works perfect it was a well made product at a good price very easy to mount holds the scope securely I see now that the item is extended backorder too bad for those who want to mount a scope on a GSG 22-caliber sturmgewehr
