This is my 2nd NightForce scope. I have an SHV 4-14 x 50 F1 on a 7.62 rifle, but wanted to shoot longer distances and chose the NX8 4-32x50mm. The NS8 is an awesome scope and solves my distance issues. I will be moving my SHV to my 5.56 as it has proven to be very good for intermediate distances. The cost of the new NX8 is expensive, however worth every penny. If your serious about long range accuracy the NX8 is your scope.

I like it a lot more than my vortex razor gen 2. It's like half the weight and all the little things like click sounds and feel, built in knob, parallax adjustment, eye relief, and reticle adjustment are really good. The only thing the razor gen 2 is better at it low light usability due to the 56mm lens.

I bought the F2 4-32 one, I have to say I'm a bit disappointed with it. The illumination lights up the tube at night no matter the colour or intensity. I am also disappointed in the covers, very cheap plastic. The Leupold ones are the best that I've seen so far. I called NF about the illumination issue and they gave me a smoke and mirrors story …

Nightforce Scopes definitely are quality. Very clear and tracked well . My first Night force purchase and I am very satisfied .I have tried other scopes but this is by far the best I have ever owned .
