You can buy the Cheaper Rings, Talley, Weaver, Burris, Leupold etc… And that is what you are buying…If you use a cheap light weight scope, under 18oz. They work fairly well. But when you move to a High quality scope, weighing in at 30oz and up, those cheap rings will not hold the scope in place. Oh you can find on the "Net", lots of ways to make them hold better… Like put some Silicon on the rings, (Causing it to draw in moisture and then grow mold) or Friction tape, (again drawing in moisture and mold. Mold will expand and bend the rings and or stretch the screws causing them to become loose.) If the rings were the correct size and made strong, you could not get tape inside them to begin with. But with cheap flimsy rings that will bend to fit when you put tape and Silicon in the rings, well, there you go, cheap flimsy rings for cheap scopes and you wonder why every year you have to re-zero!A 30oz plus Scope has enough mass, under recoil it wants to remain where it is, so it works it way forward after several shot. Thus you need a robust set of rings like these and they must be made exactly to proper size. Nightforce Rings are not made of the same aluminum as the cheap rings for starters. Yes, it makes all the difference.Again with cheap scopes, cheap rings work since neither is made very close to proper fit, so stuffing things under the rings might make sense. But with Nightforce Scopes, Nightforce rings, they mate up so well, there is no slippage. Make sure the Surfaces are clean and dry. Tighten to specs. 25 inch pounds and your done. Tightening the rings any tighter will not help. Since they are made exactly to spec, they fit perfectly. They will hold their heaviest scopes in place, even those weights about 43ozs when installed. Also, if you paid $2,400+ for a Scope, what is a few hundred for the Rings? By the Way, do not forget the Base. A $50 Base is not made of the same quality Aluminum as Nightforce bases are either. Thus Nightforce bases cost double. Now assuming you put a Nightforce Scope, rings and base on your rifle and it is bedded and free Floated, fairly stiff barrel. Once zeroed it stays zeroed year after year. Even when those years included riding on a 4 wheeler for miles and miles. Not just for hunting season but a few times a week all year long. The Rifle will remain zeroed.. In short, if you are putting these rings, on a high quality scope built to proper specs and a very good quality base. You will be very pleased…

For the money it would be difficult to impossible to find better rings, they are light weight and precisely machined so that they grip the scope as needed. I believe they are milled from billet Aluminum. I recommend these highly.

I have used these rings on every competition rifle scope I own. Light yet very strong. Just make sure you order the correct diameter and height. These rings will go on an f-class rifle with a March High Master Scope. 34 mm tube. Maybe could get by with the one size lower, but for me. Steve

Some of the best rings you can buy. Rigid, secure, and lots of clamping surface for a repeatable platform. I use Nightforce rings on all my rifles regardless of the optic. I would recommend them to my mother.

If the scopes weren’t good enough the rings may be better. They are light weight, tough and reliable, with a great finish. I use these on all my rifles, thefour screw model for lighter calibers and the 6 for heavy calibers. The extreme high will work best for 56mm on a AR type flat top picatinny style rail.
