The optics are really good. Comfort and fit are spot on. The only thing to be aware of is they are not water proof. A fact I was aware of and purchased them knowingly. If that is an important feature to you then these may not be right for you.

Inpurchased the glasses for my neighbor so he can watch activities at the Bible Camp 800 yards away on the other side of the lake. Since receiving the binoculars he has commented on how clear and quick to focus they are,,his wife has also used the glases and commented favorably on the ease it is to use them and the fact that they are not super heavy while providing a very clear view. The binoculars are fairy large in size so probably not for carrying while backpacking but will work well when a need to spot a mountain sheep on a ridge far away.

I purchased these binoculars as a gift for a son-in-law and they arrived in approximately 7 days. These were the first Nikon binoculars I have purchased and my son-in-law is really enjoying them. My experience with Opticsplanet was easy, fast and I actually saved money buying them from OP rather than from our local store. I have since ordered other items and so far I'm extremely happy with OP.

I have had stronger binoculars, but these are very sharp and make up for the 10×50 I had before.Lighter and easy to use. There is a place to hook up a tri-pod but needs a special L bracket that does not come with the binoculars. It does come with a light weight case and a strap for the binoculars.

For the money….These are GREAT!! I'm referring to the DEMO version!!!! If I had more money in my budget I'd buy more of these for good friends!! At this point I would NOT hesitate to recommend this deal!

Well, this is a first impression. Just tried breifly before heading to Magee Marsh/Lake Erie. I returned two models to other sites; both similar yet one was around $45 more. Very good optics but just not my preference/"feel". I like the dial in the middle, not that flat mechanism you tilt. Pentax has this on some of their models. They're light as well. I found one review, maybe two online overall. The girl said these were as good as her $600 roof prism model – note: these are porro. The price may come down since this IS birding season when they go up.(Supply & Demand – always good to buy things after the season if you can wait.) The strap and pouch and lens covers are great. Strap was difficult to put on – especially using mediocre instructions, if you ask me.Pros: lightweight, center dial adjustment, pouch, strap, lens coversCons: No customer service number
