Omega has revolutionized the shooting industry by introducing their new Mil-Dot Sight. The new Mil-Dot Sight offers various advantages, making it the perfect product for handgun and rifle applications. The functionality of the new Sight is second to none, making it the perfect aiming device for handgun, pistol, and all shooting range applications. The Omega III Sight offers 5 Mil-Dot Reticle patterns to choose from, and is based on the True Distance Calculator. Now you will know the true distance of your target both before and after you shoot it. The technology is so advanced that you will be shooting at lightning-fast speeds. You can experience all the benefits of a modern mil-dot scope, without ever going to a shooting range. It has an advanced electronic level on the LCD screen so you can tweak the settings to your liking. The Omega III Sight also features a true-distance measuring system that will always give you the True Distance to your target, even if you are using a rangefinder or another distance compensator. The advanced level will only work when the shooter is aiming at very close range, or on very awkward ground. Best used for bows, not firearms. It mounts, but is not likely to keep its zero. I see the potential room for improvement in screen resolution, optical zoom ,screen lag, and use for firearms if housing construction was different.

Bore sighted, shot, adjusted shot and it never tracked a bullet again. Doesn’t handle recoils at all. Don’t waste your money. If you do, and you contact customer service they will quote the manual to you like you’re clueless and not provide any help or information. No warranty to speak of. Genuinely a wasted 500.
