Very nice scope that fits easily in one's pocket and is easy to adjust. Great for birders!

I have a pretty impressive collection of monoculars, most larger, heavier, and much more expensive than this 8×20. But none are so easy to carry everywhere—and the best thing about this one is the accessory stand which turns it into a first-class portable, LED-lighted microscope, far superior to the screw-on magnifier that comes with the otherwise peerless Leica 8×20 Monovid, or the much older Pentax 8×32 monocular with magnifier stand. The magnification strength, ease of use, and LED light make this Opticron outfit well worth its price. Opticron has won me over: my standard carry-piece is now the DBA VHD+ 10×42 monocular—bright, steady, super-sharp: all-time favorite for distance viewing. For superb optics in a small package, the Leica Monovid reigns supreme.
